Ghosting

I am all about a good lucite detail when done correctly.

These barely there pieces can ironically make a bold statement in your home, but the key is to not over do it. I love the look of a lucite towel bar or curtain rod in an unexpected space.

If you're like me, then an all white, clutter-free kitchen is your idea of heaven. Keep those clean lines and minimalistic details running throughout your space by adding a set of lucite stools to your breakfast bar area.

Love the idea of styling your dream bar cart?
Skip the cart and opt for a cross leg lucite tray table. This allows the focal point to be centered on your beautifully colored bottles and bar accessories.  (Pro tip: always add a short arrangement of your favorite flowers here for an extra punch!)

I'm super into the look of a lucite etagere (fancy french word for a display shelving unit).
If your space doesn't have built-ins (J thinks I am crazy, but these are at the top of my wish list for our home) then create the look by adding one or two of these pieces to showcase all of your favorite books, objects, special memories and personal photographs. How gorgeous is this Jonathan Adler version? Doesn't it make the items look like they are floating??

There are so many ways to incorporate little touches of acrylic into your home. If you're not married to the idea, start small with a great serving platter (featured above) or a set of standout candlestick holders.

The design possibilities are endless!
